Cakifo is a free and clean WordPress theme, which was built with the rock-solid Hybrid theme framework, so it is a great starting point with many useful features. A killer feature is an ability to add custom stylesheets to any single post. Several sidebars, many useful shortcodes and theme settings page, it is more than you could expect from a freemium WordPress theme.
Theme also has a custom front page with image and text slider, recent posts and post from selected categories. It has a great post thumbnail functionality to automate the process. Layouts can be set on a per-post and per-page basis.
